Abstract: The Journal of Orthopaedic Translation (JOT) is an international SCI journal focusing on orthopaedic translational medicine. JOT is a peer-reviewed, open access journal of the Chinese Speaking Orthopaedic Society (CSOS) and the International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society (ICMRS), established in later 2013. It is published now bimonthly by Elsevier (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-orthopaedic-translation).

After getting its first IF 2.063 in 2018, we are pleased to have our 2019 SCI impact factor (IF) of 3.986, ranking top 10% in Q1 of JRC under the subject area of Orthoapedics and Sports Medicine.

The Editor-in-Chief of Prof. Ling QIN (Hong Kong), past president of ICMRS, will update with members on the recent progress of JOT and performance of indices, and future development. More importantly, he will introduce the presentation format of translational research work that will help members to prepare their potential submissions effectively for the JOT , including: 1) formulation of research questions or study objectives; 2) study design with positive control whenever possible; 3) the use of established testing methods such as ISO and/or ASMT whenever possible; 4) for the development of discussions to relate major findings relative to the a study’s hypothesis and objectives, as well as obstacles in translating research findings into application.

A Q/A session will be arranged with presence of JOT associate editors who are current or past presidents or senior members of ICMRS, including Profs. Gang Li, Tingting Tang, Di Chen, and Ling Qin (USA).

This webinar will be moderated by Dr. Tingting Tang, Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital and Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine.
