Dear ICMRS Members,

I am pleased to invite you to attend the 2016 ICMRS-ORS Membership Meeting scheduled at the hotel of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Orlando, Florida, on 3/5/2016 (Saturday).

Exciting activities, including a presidential speech and Webster Jee Young Investigator Award ceremony, are arranged for the evening. Detailed introduction on the WJ awards can be found in the attached announcement and the complete agenda have been posted at society website (http://www.icmrs.net) .

Dr. Linda Sandell, the Mildred B. Simon Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, will give a keynote speech entitled “Genetics of Cartilage Repair and Osteoarthritis”. She has been a leader in the field of orthopaedic research and has provided extensive leadership in the orthopaedic research field.  She is Past President of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (2010- 2013) and the Editor in Chief for the Journal of Orthopaedic Research.

This will be a great opportunity for members to discuss the activities and functioning of the society, as well as to meet old friends and start new friendships while enjoying food and drinks in a pleasant social setting. New members are particularly encouraged to attend to familiarize with the society and learn more about member benefits.
