I am pleased to invite you to attend the 2016 ICMRS-ASBMR Membership Meeting, which will be held at the Omni Atlanta Hotel in CNN Center, Atlanta, on Friday September 16th, 2016.

In the meeting, Dr. James Wang, the President of ICMRS, will give a presidential speech, which will brief the accomplishments of his executive team in his first year of presidency and outline the goals for the second year.

The long tradition of holding a Webster Jee Young Investigator Award Ceremony at the meeting will be continued to feature scientific accomplishments by our young ICMRS members.

A highlight of this meeting will be the Career Development Workshop arranged by the ICMRS Education Committee. The workshop will feature two outstanding members of ICMRS who are role models for having dual careers both in the academia and industry: Dr. Edward Guo, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Vice Chair of Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, and David Ke, Vice President at UCB Pharmacy. This workshop is an exciting opportunity for junior ICMRS members to learn career development skills.

The meeting will be a great opportunity for members to discuss the activities and functioning of the society, as well as to meet old friends and start new friendships while enjoying food and drinks in a pleasant social setting. New members are particularly encouraged to attend to familiarize with the society and learn more about member benefits.
