The mission of the International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society (ICMRS) is to promote scientific and professional excellence, and enhance communication among scientists of Chinese heritage and other international scholars in the field of musculoskeletal research and related areas. ICMRS aims to advance the global musculoskeletal research agenda through excellence in education, research collaboration, and networking through sponsorship and organizing various scientific conferences, workshops, and scientific events worldwide. ICMRS fosters early career researchers among members. ICMRS promotes the development of basic scientists and clinical researchers to assure continuing efforts for exploring new discoveries and advances for providing quality of musculoskeletal research and care in countries including outreach regions. 

The ICMRC-2026, jointly organized by ICMRS, the National Center for Orthopaedic Medicine at Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Jinjiang Hospital (Fujian Branch of Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital), serves as an biennial international forum for individuals involved in musculoskeletal research. Attendees will come from academia and industry, including basic scientists, clinical investigators, orthopedic surgeons, and physicians specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The ICMRC-2026 is expected to attract  ~1,000 attendees from different countries, providing a platform to learn about the latest advancements in research, innovations,  and clinical trials.

国际华人骨科研究学会（ICMRS）致力于促进科学与专业的卓越发展，加强华裔科学家与全球骨科研究及相关领域学者之间的交流。ICMRS 旨在通过卓越的教育、科研合作及建立网络，在全球范围内支持并组织各类学术会议、研讨会和科学活动，从而推动全球骨科研究。ICMRS 支持中早期职业研究人员的培养，并致力于推动基础科学家与临床研究人员的合作交流，支持探索新发现、新技术，从而提供高质量的骨科研究与医疗服务。

ICMRC-2026 由 ICMRS与国家骨科医学中心上海交通大学医学院附属第六人民医院和晋江市医院 (上海六院福建医院) 共同举办，是骨科研究领域每两年举办一次的重要国际论坛。会议将吸引来自学术界和工业界的广泛参与，包括基础科学家、临床研究学者、骨科医生以及康复医学专家。 按照过往会议成功举办的经验，此次大会预计将有近1,000 名来自不同国家的参会者，提供了一个用于展示最新的科研进展、创新成果、及临床研究的高端平台。
