Abstract submission

The ICMRC-2026 extends the gratitude to everyone who submit an abstract for the conference. Your contributions are instrumental in advancing musculoskeletal research and shaping the future of the field!

(3). Bone Biology and Osteoporosis

(4). Bone and Organ Axis

(5). Intervertebral Disc and Spine Degeneration

(6). Joint biology, Joint Replacement and Osteoarthritis

(7). Mechanobiology and Biomechanics

(8). Musculoskeletal Development and Aging

(9). Tendinopathy and Tendon Rupture 

(10). Others 

Requirements:

1. The abstract should be not less than 250 words within one page. Please strictly follow what are required in the abstract template.  The abstract must be submitted as a ONE-PAGE PDF document using the template. Abstracts that do not meet the requirements outlined in the guideline are subjected to automatic rejection.

2. Abstracts must be unpublished work or have not been accepted by any journals when submitted. 

3. To allow double-blind review, please also copy/paste abstract information into the submission system. Only one figure can be inserted.

4. There are 10 research topics, as outline above. Please select two that best fit your research. 

5. During abstract submission, you will have options to indicate your qualifications and apply for the awards.

  1) Requirements for the Rising Star Awards: 1) applicants must be a valid ICMRS member (website for member registration: https://www.icmrs.net/join-us), and must have registered for the conference; 2) Applicants must be junior PIs who completed their terminal research degree or post-graduate clinical training (whichever is later) within the past 10 years; 3) Applicants must have operated an independent lab for no more than 6 years at the time of application; 4) Abstracts must present the work originating from the applicant's independent lab; 5) After submitting the abstract and receiving the abstract ID, applicants must email two representative publications from their lab to ICMRS@icmrs.net, with the email subject formatted as "Abstract ID+RSA". 

   2) Requirements for the Young Investigator Awards: 1) Applicants must be a valid ICMRS member (website for member registration: https://www.icmrs.net/join-us), and must have registered for the conference; 2) Applicants must be graduate students, postgraduate trainees, postdoctoral fellows, or clinical residents with less than 5 years after obtaining the highest degree; 3) Applications are accepted regardless of race or ethnicity, including from non-Chinese candidates

6. Abstracts received by the deadline will be considered for either podium or poster presentation. All accepted abstracts will be notified by April 15, 2026.

投稿要求:

1.所有摘要须以英文写作,须不少于250字,但不超过1页。请严格按照摘要模板格式要求并使用模板排版, 以PDF格式上传。不符合格式要求的摘要将被拒稿。

2. 摘要相关工作在提交之时必须尚未被任何杂志刊物接受或发表。

3. 为确保双盲评审,请将摘要信息同步复制并粘贴至投稿系统。文中仅允许插入一张插图。

4. 本次大会征文范围共分为10个主题,在提交摘要的时候请选择两个最适合研究内容的主题。

5. 在提交摘要的过程中,你可以选择是否符合要求并申请相关奖项。

    1)Rising Star  Awards 基本要求:1)须为有效ICMRS会员(会员注册网址:http://www.icmrs.net/join-us),且注册参会;2)该奖项将从青年PIs中选出,申请人须在过去 10 年内获得最终研究学位或完成研究生临床培训(以较晚者为准);3)申请人建立自己的独立实验室不超过6年;4)摘要主体工作必须在申请人自己的实验室完成;5)提交完摘要之后,以“摘要编号+RSA"为标题发送申请人独立实验室的两篇代表作至icmrs@icmrs.net。  

    2) Young Investigator  Awards 基本要求:1)须为有效ICMRS会员(会员注册网址:http://www.icmrs.net/join-us),且注册参会;2)须为研究生、博士后、或住院医师3)种族不限,非华裔人员亦可申请。

6. 摘要接受为口头报告或者海报展示的通知将于4月15日前发出,请注意查收相关邮件。
